Help victims of domentic abuse as a Domestic Violence Intake Specialist. In this critical role, responsibilities include:

• Screening incoming cases by phone and in person

• Meeting with victims of abuse and offer options + assistance for them and their children

• Helping victims with legal procedures, such as securing Orders of Protection, referring victims to other community agencies for assistance, and routing paperwork 

• Supporting victims in crisis counseling and advocating for victims within the criminal justice system

• Being available to police for assistance with victim for crisis counseling, shelter, etc.

• Assisting the Domestic Violence Case Coordinator and police with community presentations and training

The Department of Water & Water Supply is seeking a highly motivated inventory intern. This individual will be assigned clerical and administrative tasks such as scanning, cataloging and data entry of inventory parts for a new software system. This position is supervised by and reports to the Inventory Control Manager and/or their designees but will work with everyone on the team.

The case manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating support service strategies for participants enrolled in the city’s Youth Programs. This entails coordinating with youth program directors to needs and develop corresponding strategies.

Additionally, the case manager engages in direct case management of individual youth, supervises and selects consultant and other youth service providers, fosters positive relations with parents and community members, and develops community resources for case referral.
