This position is responsible for the maintenance of parking violation files and outstanding ticket records.
The position is responsible for making decisions about the rules and regulations of parking violations.
Under the City Treasurer, the Director exercises independent judgment in carrying out the details of the office.
The position coordinates with various departments and agencies to arrange for the transfer of data and the collection of fines and penalties.
The position prepares and maintains documentation to represent the City in court against violators.
Direct supervision of employees is a function of the work.

A. Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) and six (6) years’ experience in the management of a public municipal parking system; OR
B. Possession of an Associate’s Degree and eight (8) years’ experience in the management of a public municipal parking system; OR
C. Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and ten (10) years’ experience in the management of a public municipal parking system; OR
D. Any equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (A), (B), and (C) above.
